Bio

A native son of the New York area, Dan Parilis has worked in a wide array of acting and performance projects, running the gamut of independent film, classical theater, improv, vocal and musical exhibition, and voice-overs.

Dan is most attracted to roles that explore the darker depths of the human condition — stories and settings that delve into the subtle motivations we often try to hide from view. Rather than play in his comfort zone, Dan often morphs his behavior and appearance, disappearing into each character he takes on. A firm believer that “an ounce of behavior is worth a pound of words”, Dan constantly strives to discover and secure quality projects in which to do great work, and explore his potential as an actor and performer.
